With the cost of living crisis, many of us are facing tough decisions. Some of us have moved to working from home following the pandemic and are facing a winter with increased energy bills. Others are facing even harder decisions about whether to heat or eat. We don’t think this is right and we wanted to do something to help.
This winter you can be sure of a warm welcome at our Warm Space at Jubilee Family Centre, Aylsham.
You don’t need to book and are welcome to come for as little or as long as you like. We’ll have the heating on, so you don’t have to.
There is also free WiFi available if you need somewhere warm and welcoming to work.
| Aylsham Community Fridge 9am-10am (Tues, Weds and Thurs) | For local residents and businesses to share surplus food and for anyone to help themselves to quality food that would otherwise be wasted. |
| Unity Cafe (every week) 9.30am-11.30am | Free coffee, cake and company. Come as you are, with friends or on your own – we look forward to seeing you! |
| Warm Space Lunch (once a month) 11.30am-1pm | You’re invited once a month to join us for a free, simple hot lunch. We don’t want anyone to be cold and hungry this winter. The dates for our lunches are: 23 November 21 December 25 January 22 February |
| Clarion Futures Digital Champions 9.30am-11.30am | If you would like to learn more about computers, the internet and other digital technology then Clarion Futures Digital Champions can help you take the next step. Their friendly group of trained volunteers can provide free one-to-one support that’s tailored just for you. Feel free to come along to the sessions on Thursday mornings, no need to book. |
| English Language Lessons 9.00am | Free face-to-face English Language Lessons for people from any nationality who want to learn or improve their English. |
