Wednesday Prayer

We desperately need to see God bring us breakthrough in healing, resources and salvation, but we are “not afraid or discouraged… for the battle is not (ours) but God’s.” (2 Chronicles 20:15).

Instead we hear the same call from God that Jehoshaphat and the people heard, “Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.” (v.17) We believe this means the same for us as it did for them, to give ourselves to prayer and fasting to see God’s deliverance.

For this reason every week we gather as a church for a time united prayer.

There are three opportunities to meet together to pray at Jubilee Family Centre, each time for an hour of prayer focused on calling on God for breakthrough in the areas of healing and resources and kingdom advance in line with our 2020 Vision. These take place at:

  • 6.30 – 7.30am // Wednesday
  • 12.00 – 1.00pm // Wednesday
  • 7.30 – 8.30pm // Thursday

In his first letter to Timothy Paul writes “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made….”. We hear the same sense of urgency in this call to prayer for us as a church. Together we get on a battle-footing in prayer, setting a new rhythm that permeates every part of the church, and allow God to build in us songs of victory and deliverance.
